Do you take students with special needs?
Yes! As a disclaimer, I will say I am NOT a professional. I cannot give a diagnosis or anything like that. However, I am learning how to help students who have other needs like ADD, ADHD, Autism, etc. Please feel free to ask me more questions.
Can I leave my child with you?
No. Depending on the location, you can leave the room or the area, but guardians must remain nearby to ensure everyone's time is respected and safe in case of an emergency.
How does payment work?
When you schedule on my site, they hold your card info. I do not charge until the session is complete. If, for whatever reason, you want to use a different card, I can use Tap Pay. All payment methods are secured through Square Site and Acuity.
What is your process?
During the school year, the goal is to raise grades, so I start with the homework. We go over what they have to do, and I provide additional guidance in areas that need it. During the summer, I sit with the guardian and the student, and we devise a plan. The first day is mostly light testing and relationship building. At the end of the session, we make a plan and adjust as needed.
